This specimen was lot 4082 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 44,000 CHF (about US$53,407 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Bern | Stadt und Kanton. 5 Dukaten o. J. (um 1710), Bern. Gekrönte Wappenkartusche, gehalten von einem Löwen und einem Bären, die auf Podesten stehen. Darunter das Münzzeichen D B für den Stempelschneider De Beyer. Rv. Mann und Frau reichen sich über einem Altar die Hand, darüber Kranz und strahlende Sonne in Form eines Gesichtes. Sehr selten. Fast FDC. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Switzerland, canton of Bern, undated quintuple ducat from circa 1710, Bern mint. Obverse: crowned arms in a cartouche, supported by a lion and a bear standing on a pedestal, engraver's initials below; reverse: a man and a woman shake hands over an altar, wreath and shining sun above. Very rare, About uncirculated, Magnificent condition.)"
This large coin is accompanied by four (KM 78), six (KM 79), seven (KM 80), eight (KM 77) and ten ducats (KM 81).
