This specimen was lot 145 in Künker Auction 410 (Osnabrück, September 2024), where it sold for €36,000 (about US$42,068 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"AACHEN, STADT Dicker doppelter Reichstaler 1643, mit Titel Ferdinands III. Menadier 209 c. Von allergrößter Seltenheit. Attraktives, sehr schönes Exemplar mit feiner Patina. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 113, Osnabrück 2006, Nr. 2997. (city of Aachen, Thicker double reichstaler of 1643 with titles of Ferdinand III. Of the utmost rarity. An attractive, Extremely Fine specimen with a lovely patina. Was lot 2997 in Künker Auction 113, Osnabrück, 2006.)
