Steve Album Auction 53, lot 3181

This specimen was lot 3181 in Steve Album Auction 53 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY: People's Republic, AR 200 forint, Budapest, 1980-BP, XIII Winter Olympics-Lake Placid, Figure Skaters, NGC graded Proof 68 Ultra Cameo." This design was also used on a silver 500 forint (KM 619).

Recorded mintage: 15,000 proofs.

Specification: 16 g, 0.640 fine silver, 36 mm diameter.
