This specimen was lot 75515 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $1,320. The catalog description[1] noted, "POLAND. 10 Zlotych, 1934. Warsaw Mint. PCGS MS-63. Commemorating the 20th anniversary for the entry of Piłsudski's Polish Rifle Corps into World War I. Marshall Piłsudski dominates the obverse, with the Symbol of the Rifle Corps found below the eagle on the reverse. Quite a scarce offering, especially at this lofty level of preservation." This "Rifle Corps" commemorates the pseudo-sporting associations organized in Austrian Poland before World War One which later became the nucleus of the independent Polish army. One of the organizers, Józef Piłsudski, depicted on the obverse, became the president of the new republic.

Recorded mintage: 300,000.
