This specimen was lot 3643 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €625 (about US$885 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"FRANKFURT, REICHSMÜNZSTÄTTE Sigismund von Luxemburg, König 1410-1433. Goldgulden o. J. (1428-1429). GOLD. R Sehr schön. (city of Frankfurt, imperial mint, Sigismund of Luxembourg, king of Rome 1410-33, undated goldgulden, circa 1428-29. Rare, very fine.)"
This type is among the more common gold coins of the fifteenth century. It varies from the very similar goldgulden of 1429-31 by having the quadrilobe decorated with rosettes instead of rings.
