This specimen was lot 2328 in Goldberg sale 98 (Los Angeles, June 2017), where it sold for $399.50. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Australia. 200 Dollars, 1987. Elizabeth II. Reverse: Arthur Phillip. Choice Brilliant Proof." Arthur Phillip (1738-1814) was the first governor of New South Wales (1788-92) and led it thru the early years of hardship and starvation.

Recorded mintage: 20,800 + 20,000 proofs.
