Steve Album Auction 52, lot 1288

This specimen was lot 1288 in Steve Album Auction 52 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $6,000. The catalog description[1] noted, "MOROCCO: Mohammed VI, 1999-, AR 250 dirhams, 2010/AH1431, 90th Anniversary of the Moroccan Phosphate Company, a superlative proof state example! PCGS graded Proof 70 DCAM, ex Dr. Wolfgang Schuster Collection. Very Rare! Only given to employees of the Moroccan Phosphate Company and not for sale to the public. NOTE FROM THE CONSIGNOR: Type only released to company employees, not to public, info and coin in SCWC and Schön based on my coin, never offered, extremely rare!"

Recorded mintage: 3,000.

Specification: 28.28 g, 0.925 fine silver, 38.61 mm diameter, reeded edge.
