This specimen was lot 2504 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 2,400 CHF (about US$3,171 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ, Basel, Stadt und Kanton, Dicken 1499, Basel. Baselstab zwischen zwei Basilisken. Rv. Madonna mit Christuskind in Strahlen. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of Basel, dickeno of 1499, Basel mint. Obverse: city arms between two basilisks; reverse: Madonna and Child in a glory. Very rare, Good very fine.)"
The dicken was about one quarter of a thaler. Note the early "4" in the date.
