This specimen was lot 4398 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 160 CHF (about US$222 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Neuenburg/Neuchâtel, Könige von Preussen, Friedrich Wilhelm III. 1797-1805 und 1814-1840. Kreuzer 1818, Neuchâtel. FDC. (Switzerland, principality of Neuchâtel, kreuzer of 1818, Neuchâtel mint. Mint State.)"
This type was struck 1817-18 after the restoration of Frederick William III as prince of Neuchâtel. Numista states that it was made at Bern.
