Stephen Album sale 50, lot 1064

This specimen was lot 1064 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "ISLE OF MAN: Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, 1/4 noble, Pobjoy Mint, 1996, Viking Longboat - Platinum Bullion Series, with 1/4 ounce pure platinum, Proof." The hologram effect was probably accomplished with a sticker.

Recorded mintage: est. 10,000.

Specification: 7.77 g, 0.999 fine platinum.
