This specimen was lot 11275 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Sweden|SWEDEN]]. Kreutzer, 1632. Säter & Nyköbing Mint. Gustav II Adolf. NGC AU Details--Obverse Scratched. Flan clipped. Coin type were struck in Sweden but intended for circulation in Germany. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Numista states this type was intended for circulation in Germany during the Thirty Years War but it was probably not a success as it was not repeated. It was about the weight of a copper half öre. The ragged edge on this example was caused by punching the planchet too close to the edge of the strip. The death of [[Sweden 1632 riksdaler Dav-4521|Gustavus Adolphus]] in 1632 completely disrupted Swedish dreams of becoming a Great Power.

This specimen was lot 11275 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €780 (about US$813). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Kreutzer, 1632. Säter & Nyköping Mint. The death of Gustavus Adolphus in 1632 completely disrupted Swedish dreams of becoming a Great Power.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specifications: copper, this specimen 18.52 g.
