This specimen was lot 2355 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "TRAVANCORE: Bala Rama Varma II, 1924-1949, AR ¼ rupee, ME1116 (1941). NGC graded MS65+." This two year type (ME 1116, 1118) is fairly common. Proofs exist.

Recorded mintage: 126,000.

Specifications: 2.66 g, 0.500 fine silver.
