This specimen was lot 42697 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), where it sold for $68. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "DENMARK. 6 Skilling, 1629. Christian IV (1586-1648). NGC VF-35. Sprig below date. Struck slightly off center, but attractive for the issue, with moderate gray color in the fields and lighter color on the raised designs." This type was struck 1628-29. The six skilling was 1/16 of a [[Norway 1628 specie daler Dav-3529|speciedaler]]. After the seventeenth century, the denomination was dropped in favor of four and eight skilling.
