This specimen was lot 1962 in Stephen Album sale 32 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2018), where it sold for $470. The catalog description[1] noted, "MYSORE: Tipu Sultan, 1782-1799, AE paisa, Farrukhi, AM1218, superb strike, choice EF." This type was struck AM 1216-1219 at Farrukhi and many other mints.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: copper, 11.15-11.73 g, this specimen 11.40 g.
