This specimen was lot 571 in Sincona sale 63 (Zurich, June 2020), where it sold for 525 CHF (about US$658 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Schwarzenberg, Fürstentum, Josef Adam, 1732-1782. Taler 1766, Nürnberg. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Feine Patina. (Germany, principality of Schwarzenberg, Joseph Adam, 1732-82, thaler of 1766, Nuremberg mint. Very fine-extremely fine, Nicely toned.)"
Schwarzenberg was wedged between Wurzburg and Bayreuth and passed to Bavaria in 1806. Its issues are generally rare altho this example realized about half its catalog value.
