Peru 1855 cuartilla rev DSLR.jpg

This type was struck at Lima 1826-56. The date is listed in the SCWC as common, tho all Peruvian minors are scarcer in nice condition than the catalog values would indicate; among the quarter reales, only the 1855 is frequently seen. Many overdates are listed, for 1855, a 1855/53 and 1855/3 is listed.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 0.84 g, 0.903 fine silver, 0.024 troy oz ASW.

Catalog reference: KM 143.1.
