This specimen was lot 8193 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $264. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Great Britain, Scotland|SCOTLAND]]. Penny, ND (1249-85). Alexander III. NGC EF-40. A well struck Penny, with no points of weakness on either side, and a nicely detailed obverse portrait. The surfaces are toned a medium gray, with some darker shades in the protected areas to provide contrast."

This specimen was lot 8193 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Penny, ND (1249-85). Alexander III. NGC EF-40. A well struck Penny, with no points of weakness on either side, and a nicely detailed obverse portrait.
