This specimen was lot 3835 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabruck, March 2024), where it sold for €2,600 (about US$3,412 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1741, Wien. Antrittsdukat. GOLD. R Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780, ducat of 1741, Vienna mint, for her coronation. Rare, very fine to extremely fine.)"
Altho the auctioneers listed this first ducat of Maria Theresia as rare, it is more available than any of the ducats of her father, Charles VI. It was struck 1741 only.
