This specimen was lot 1709 in Stephen Album sale 37 (Santa Rosa, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $1,071. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL: Prithvi Vira Vikrama, 1881-1911, AR 4 mohars, SE1817, one-year type, a superb example! PCGS graded MS61, ex Wolfgang Schuster Collection." Confusingly, many Nepalese coins were struck in silver and gold using the same dies. Some coins are dated using the Saka Era (SE) and others using the Bikram Samvat Era (VS). The four mohars denomination was struck only in silver.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 22.4 g, silver.
Catalog reference: KM-657.
