This specimen was lot 73806 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $600. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Ireland|IRELAND]]. Shilling, 1933. London Mint. NGC MS-65. Attractively toned with dusky golden-russet around the rims and fields, with deeper shades at the periphery and stretching across the reverse. Satiny luster and pleasing surface quality augment appeal, making this example an important and desirable coin for the date specialist." This type is listed for 1928-37, after which the country name was changed to simply "Eire."  This date is scarce but not rare like the 1937. Irish coinage was designed to circulate alongside British coinage which was .500 fine silver in the thirties.
