Goldberg sale 72, lot 5115
Peru 1899 libra rev Goldberg 72-5115.jpg

This specimen was lot 5115 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $431.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Peru. Libra, 1899-ROZF. Indian head. About Uncirculated. The type was struck until 1930 and again 1959-69, along with 1/5 libras and 1/2 libras.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold, .2354 troy oz AGW.

Catalog reference: Fr-73, KM 207.
