This specimen was part of lot 1248 in Goldberg sale 116 (Los Angeles, June 2020), which sold for $960. The catalog description[1] noted, "Israel. Gold 10 New Sheqalim, plus Silver 1 and 2 New Sheqalim, 2000. Biblical Art. Joseph and his Brothers. In presentation case. Lot of 3 coins. Choice Brilliant Proof." This NCLT was accompanied by a two new sheqalim (KM 340) and a silver new sheqel (KM 339).
Recorded mintage: 700 proofs, Utrecht mint.
Specification: 16.96 g, 0.917 fine gold, 30 mm diameter.
