This specimen was lot 1198 in Sincona sale 79 (Zurich, October 2022), where it sold for 4,250 CHF (about US$5,094 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN | Königreich, William III. and Mary, 1689-1694. 2 Guineas 1694/3, London. Conjoined busts. Rare. NGC AU Details. Lightly tooled below bust." This type was struck 1693-94 with (Fr-302) and without (shown here) the elephant and symbol below the busts. All the 1694 issue seems to have the overdate.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 16.70 g, .917 fine gold, this specimen 16.61 g.

Catalog reference: KM 482.1, Spink 3424, Bull 358, Fr-301.
