This type was struck 1691-94 in sufficient quantities that worn specimens are common. This specimen was lot 4322 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $546. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain. Threepence, 1694. William and Mary. Uncirculated gem with golden tone. Nicely struck, and with lots of eye appeal. NGC graded MS-64." William III ruled alone after his wife's death in 1694.
Recorded mintage: unknown but the most common date.
