Sincona sale 47, lot 2510

This specimen was lot 2510 in Sincona sale 47 (Zurich, May 2018), where it sold for 425 CHF (about US$510 including buyer's fees). The catalog description^[1] noted,

"Aargau, Batzen 1811. FDC. (canton of Aargau, batzen of 1811, Uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1807-11 and 1816. The last batzen was issued in 1826.

Recorded mintage: 60,000.
