This specimen was lot 72107 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "LITHUANIA. Centas, 1925. NGC MS-66. A nicely struck coin with finely granular surfaces and soft, full luster." This one centas is the first issue of this denomination from the first republic of Lithuania (1918-40). It was one of a series issued in 1925 ranging from one centas to five litas. Another one centas was issued in 1936. In the early twenties, Lithuania had a population of about 2.7 million.
