This specimen was lot 23313 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "NEPAL. 2 Mohar, VS 1970 (1913). PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. Entirely radiant with full frosty surfaces that are entirely tone-free. Presently the single finest example of the date graded by PCGS." While the single mohar was struck in silver and gold, the double mohar was struck only in silver. This type was struck 1911-32 and catalogs for very little.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: 11.2 g, silver, 29 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM-695.
