Bahamas G103-2300r.jpg

This specimen was lot 2300 in Goldberg sale 103 (Los Angeles, February 2018), where it sold for $352.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bahamas. 10 Dollars, 1994. Golf - Hole in One. Only 2500 minted of this one year type. Tied for finest graded. NGC graded Proof 69." Another Non Circulating Legal Tender "hole in one" issue exists in a $20 denomination, weighing half an ounce. It is not difficult to surmise the demographic targeted by the perpetrators of this issue.

Recorded mintage: 2,500.
