This specimen was lot 50094 in Ponterio sale 168 (Philadelphia, August 2012), where it sold for $646. The catalog description[1] noted, "FINLAND. 20 Markkaa, 1913-S. NGC MS-64." This type was struck 1879-80, 1891, 1903-04, 1910-13 to the standard of the French twenty francs. Finland obtained her independence from Russia in 1917-18.

Recorded mintage: 214,000.

Specification: 6.45 g, 0.900 fine gold, 21.3 mm diameter.
