This specimen was lot 31042 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $411.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "Gustaf V 5 Ore 1914, MS65 Brown NGC. Lightly toned and original with considerable underlying mint luster. Very scarce low-mintage date in Mint State." This type is listed for 1909-42 and 1950. This date is not rare but early dates are much more expensive than those of the thirties and forties.

Recorded mintage: 400,100.

Specification: 8 g, bronze, 27 mm diameter.
