Italy 1951 10 lire rev DSLR.jpg

The specimen shown is from a type struck in Rome for Italy 1951-2001. It superseded a larger aluminum coin (KM 90) struck 1946-50 which is now quite scarce in nice condition. This date has a high mintage but it still worth more in uncirculated than many later dates which were saved in greater quantity.

Recorded mintage: 96,600,000.

Specification: 1.6 g, aluminum, plain edge, 23.3 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 93.
