The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[Iran|IRAN]], Mohammad Reza Pahlavi Shah, 1320-1358 SH (1941-1979). 1 Pahlavi 1335 SH (1956), ''FDC'' (Uncirculated)." This type, struck SH 1330-1353 during the reign of Muhammed Reza Shah (r. 1941-79), was minted to the standard of a British sovereign. It has slightly lower relief than the prior type ([[Iran SH1329 pahlavi|KM 1150]]) which had persistent striking weakness. The coins generally trade as bullion coins.
