Mint: Bruges. Charles the Rash. Sharply struck with attractive toning. NGC graded EF-45." Charles' death in battle in 1477 extinguished the Burgundian dynasty. His daughter Marie's marriage to Maximilian of Hapsburg brought Hapsburg rule to the Low Countries.
