This specimen was lot 2594 in Sincona sale 90 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 475 CHF (about US$638 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
Fast FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Solothurn, batzen of 1808, Solothurn mint. The inscription on the obverse begins and ends with two ears of corn. Very rare in this condition, About uncirculated.)"
This type, struck 1808-11, is quite a bit more common than the batzen of 1807. Forty batzen made a thaler.
