This specimen was lot 1014 in Jean Elsen sale 121 (Brussels, June 2014), where it sold for €120 (about US$192 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ALLEMAGNE, WURTEMBERG, Wilhelm Ier (1816-1864), AR Kronentaler, 1833 D, Liberté des échanges. Très Beau. (kingdom of Württemberg, William I (1816-64), silver crown thaler of 1833, freedom of exchange. Very fine.)"
This type was struck 1833 only. It is not common but more available than the regular issue (KM 561). Later vereinsthaler from the 1850's are much more available.
