This specimen was lot 2155 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabruck, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,483 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEDEN, KÖNIGREICH, Gustav Vasa, 1521-1560. Mark 1558, Stockholm. Überdurchschnittlich erhalten. Fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of Sweden, Gustavus Vasa, 1521-60, mark of 1558, Stockholm mint. Above average, about extremely fine.)"
Gustav is considered the founder of modern Sweden. One mark was eight öre.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
