Chihuahua 1913 50 centavos KM-608

from the Stack's Bowers Collector's June 2022 Choice sale, lot 72103

This specimen was lot 72103 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $630. The catalog description^[1] noted, "MEXICO. Chihuahua. 50 Centavos, 1913. PCGS AU-55. Reeded Edge. Well struck for the type and with just a touch of weakness on the reverse, this attractive and delicately circulated example even retains some mint luster and stands as a charming example of the Revolutionary type." This design also comes with a plain edge (KM 609) and is scarcer thus.
