This specimen was lot 49 in Sincona sale 65 (Zurich, October 2020), where it sold for 750 CHF (about US$987 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Poltina 1738, Red Mint. Moscow type. Rare. 3 roubles according to Petrov. 3 roubles according to Ilyin. Very fine-extremely fine. (Полтина 1738, Красный МД. Московский тип. 13,44 г. Дьяков 3. Биткин 214 (R). Редкая. 3 рубля по Петрову. Состояние очень хорошее - отличное.)"

This type was struck 1737-40 at the Red Mint in Moscow and St. Petersburg. This is the second bust of the empress, used 1737-40, along with the third bust of the empress (KM 199.2), used 1738-40. Both are scarce.
