This specimen was lot 1205 in Jean Elsen sale 115 (Brussels, December 2012) where it sold for €200 (about US$305 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NEDERLAND, UTRECHT, Philips II (1555-1581), AR Bourgondische rijksdaalder, 1570, Droit: Bourgondisch kruis. Revers: Gekroond wapenschild, omringd door de keten van het Gulden Vlies. Ex HSA 18547. Zeer Fraai. (Netherlands, province of Utrecht, Philip II (1555-81), burgundian rixdollar of 1570. Obverse: Burgundian cross divides date; reverse: crowned arms, Order of the Golden Fleece around. Very fine.)"

The province of Utrecht, formerly a bishopric prior to the coming of the Hapsburgs, became a member of the United Provinces and issued coins until the time of Napoleon.
