This specimen was lot 1283 in Jean Elsen sale 124 (Brussels, March 2015), where it sold for €200 (about US$249 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BULGARIE, République (1946-99999), AV 10 leva, 1963, 1100e anniversaire de l'alphabet cyrillique. Flan Poli. (republic of Bulguria, 1946-, gold ten leva of 1963, 1100th anniversary of the Cyrillic alphabet. Proof.)"
This commemorative was accompanied by a gold twenty leva (KM 68).
Recorded mintage: 7,000.
Specification: 8.44 g, 0.900 fine gold, .242 troy oz AGW.
