This specimen was lot 32613 in Heritage Sale 3115 (Chicago, May 2024), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "Great Britain: Charles III gold Proof "King George II" 100 Pounds (1 oz) 2023 PR70 Ultra Cameo NGC. British Monarchs series. One of first 100 struck." This design was also used for KM 2458 (2023 2 pounds), KM 2486 (silver five pounds), KM 2503 (10 pounds), KM 2504 (piedfort 10 pounds) and KM 2567 (gold 200 pounds), all with this design.

Recorded mintage: 261.

Specification: 31.105 g, 0.999 fine gold.
