The first specimen was part of lot 44209 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $156. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (4) Decimo, 1856-1864. Various Mints. PCGS. 4 pieces in lot. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." The second specimen was lot 44232 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Decimo, 1861. Bogota Mint. AU-58 (PCGS). Good details, untoned. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck 1861 only as a result of changing the country name from the Confederacion Granadina to Estados Unidos de Nueva Granada. Another name change, in 1863, caused another design revision to Estado Unidos de Colombia.
Recorded mintage: unknown but rare.
Specification: 2.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .072 troy oz ASW.
