The second specimen was lot 72571 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[2] noted, "[[Poland|POLAND]]. Danzig. 1/4 Taler (Ort), 1618 SB. Sigismund III. NGC MS-62. A nicely preserved example of the type seldom encountered in this high state of preservation. Boasting a bold strike and lightly toned lustrous surfaces with a good eye appeal." This type was struck 1617-21 with various mintmasters and is not rare. An ort = ¼ thaler = ten groszy.
