This specimen was lot 31807 in Heritage sale 3029 (New York, January 2014), where it sold for $141. The catalog description[1] noted, "Carl XIV Johan 1/16 Riksdaler 1835-CB, MS61 NGC. Silvery gray surfaces with somewhat dappled obverse toning." This specimen was offered again as lot 49450 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $125. This type is noted for 1835-36 only. In the reform of 1830, the twelfth, sixth and third riksdalers were dropped for eighth, quarter and half riksdalers.
