This specimen was lot 7313 in Ponterio sale 152 (New York, January 2010), where it sold for $805. The catalog description[1] noted, "NORWAY. 20 Kroner, 1902. NGC MS-64." In 1907, Norway obtained a divorce from Sweden and became an independent kingdom under a Danish prince. Even before passing under Swedish rule in 1814, Norway had enjoyed a separate coinage from Denmark. The specimen shown here is the final date of a type previously struck 1879-86 and was accompanied by a gold ten kroner of similar design. Gold coinage ceased in Norway with the twenty kroner of 1910 (KM 376).
