This specimen was lot 5106 in Sincona sale 83 (Zurich, May 2023), where it sold for 26,000 CHF (about US$34,796 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "SWITZERLAND Zurich. Doppeldukat 1641, Zürich. Zwei aufrechte Löwen neben dem bekränzen Stadtwappen. Unten die geteilte Jahreszahl. Rv. Gekrönter nimbierter Doppeladler. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. NGC AU55. Das durch NGC höchstbewertete Exemplar'' ([[Switzerland, Zurich|canton of Zurich]], double ducat of 1641, Zürich mint. Obverse: two lions support the city arms, date below; reverse: crowned nimbate doubleheaded eagle. Very rare, especially in this condition, Finest certified by NGC)."
