This specimen was lot 3569 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 500 CHF (about US$661 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Zug, Groschen 1599, Zug. Mindere Jahreszahl seitlich des Wappens. Selten. Fast FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Zug, groschen of 1599, Zug mint, abbreviated date next to the arms. Rare, About uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1597-99. Note the two digit date and the "3" on the reverse, indicating three kreuzer.
