Sincona sale 88, lot 32

This specimen was lot 32 in Sincona sale 88 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 950 CHF (about US$1,255 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN, Safavid Dynasty, Sam Mirza, in Tabriz, 1160 AH (1747). 4 Shahi 1160 AH (1747), Tabriz Mint. Äusserst selten, Vorzüglich, Überdurchschnittliche Erhaltung; Extremely rare, Extremely fine, Extraordinary condition. Purchased from Spink & Son, Zürich, in 1987."
