The first specimen was lot 1828 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,857 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ITALIEN Neapel - Sizilien Gioacchino Murat, 1808-1813. 12 Carlini 1810. Fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of the Two Sicilies, Joachim Murat, 1808-13, twelve carlini of 1810, nice extremely fine.)"

The second specimen was lot 6835 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $763.75. The catalog description[2] noted, "ITALY. French troops returned in 1805 and Napoleon's brother Joseph was installed as king (see Dav-165). In 1808, he was called away to be king of Spain and one of Napoleon's generals, Joachim Murat, assumed the throne.
