This specimen was lot 3002 in Sincona sale 59 (Zürich, October 2019), where it sold for 8,000 CHF (about US$9,689 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SWITZERLAND | Aargau | Muri, Abtei. Placidus von Zurlauben. 1684-1723. Dukat 1720. Sehr selten. PCGS AU55. (Switzerland, canton of Aargau, abbey of Muri, Placidus von Zurlauben. 1684-1723, ducat of 1720. Very rare, about uncirculated.)"
The SCWC and Friedberg list only two coins from this locale, this ducat and an even rarer five ducats (Fr-332). The abbey was secularized in 1802.
